Aims and scope

The Journal aims to disseminate the results of researches of scholars from Ukraine and other countries of the world, development of cooperation of researchers in following thematic areas:

  • Theoretical-Methodological issues and tasks of Social and Political Psychology in contemporary world
  • Psychology of war and peace
  • Psychological aspects of Socio-Political situation in Ukraine: sceneries of societal and personal development
  • Political leadership and psychology of political decision-making
  • Democratization of political life and public society building: psychological determinants
  • Political-psychological issues of youth socialization in the condition of social transformations and educational reforms
  • Political communications: socio-psychological patterns and psychotechnological mechanisms;
  • Psychological mechanisms of the interconnection between politics and economy;
  • Psychological problems of intergroup relations, geopolitics and globalization;
  • The development of political psychology as a discipline and the task of training specialists in this field

 

Open access policy

 

The Journal practices a policy of open access to published content based on the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and global knowledge sharing for the overall social progress.

 

Publication Ethics

The Editorial Board's policy is based on international copyright practices and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, https://publicationethics.org/core-practices ) standards for the ethics of scientific publications.

The collection and processing of personal data of authors (names, e-mail addresses) is in accordance with the Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI "On Protection of Personal Data" of 01.06.2010. The names and email addresses provided by users of this site will be used solely for internal technical purposes; they will not be distributed or transmitted to third parties.

 

Conflict of the interest

The Journal adheres to the COPE (Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors) guidelines for journal editors to meet ethics and publication quality requirements.

 

All authors, editors, and reviewers should report a conflict of interest if:

 

  • the interpretation of data or the submission of information in a publication may be influenced by their personal or financial relations with other persons or organizations, which in any way may gain or lose financial resources from the publication of the manuscript, now or in the future;
  • political, personal, religious, ideological, academic and intellectual interests may have a subjective influence on the content of the manuscript or the decision to publish it.

 

Plagiarism

Journal uses the StrikePlagiarism® text comparison software to detect plagiarism.

The editorial policy of the Journal aims to prevent and counter plagiarism or self-plagiarism.

When submitting a manuscript, editors should ensure that:

- the scientific results of other authors are submitted with the obligatory adherence to the requirements for reference and citation, with the author and source;

- the authors submit their own creative (scientific) results, which have not been published in other publications.

The authors fully guarantee the originality of the submitted work. The editorial board reserves the right to review the manuscripts submitted for plagiarism.

 

Copyright and licensing

The Collection and Licensing and Copyright Policy complies with the rules of the Committee on Publications Ethics (COPE), the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and the Berlin Open Access Initiative (BOAI), Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities. 

The authors retain copyright and also grant to the journal the right to publish original scientific articles containing the results of experimental and theoretical studies and that are not under consideration for publication in other journals. All materials are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial License International CC-BY-NC. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles in this magazine without first seeking permission from the publisher or author.

The authors submit to the editorial boards of the journal the right to distribute the electronic version of the article through any electronic means (posting on the official web site of the journal, in electronic databases, repositories, etc.).

The author reserves the right, without the consent of the editorial board and the founders, to use the materials of the article in whole or in part for educational purposes, for writing their own theses, preparing theses, conference reports, as well as oral presentations and placing electronic copies of the article (including the final electronic version, downloaded from the journal's official website) on the personal web resources or web resources of the authors' establishments.

In any case, a bibliographic link to the article or a hyperlink to its electronic copy on the official journal website is required
