The papers discuss theoretical and methodological issues and actual tasks of political psychology at the present stage of its development. Psychological factors of democratization of country’s political life, social innovations and transformations of Ukrainian society are studied. Phenomena related to the European integration process, the Bologna Process, media education, country’s information politics, such as historical memory, virtual space of personality, social capital, poverty and outsiderness, attitude to national currency, migration behavior, perceptions of geopolitical reality are analyzed. The results of the study of social and psychological patterns of political communication and election campaigns in Ukraine and psychological mechanisms of activity of subjects of political space are presented; theoretical and practical aspects of personal identity formation in civic and political areas of his/her activity. Particular attention is paid to political and psychological problems of youth socialization, perosnality formation in contexts of globalization, multilingvizm, socio-economic inequality, educational and professional development, rural and urban environments.
The papers are addressed to the scientists, teachers and students active in different branches of political psychology and related sciences.
