The authors discuss the theoretical and methodological aspects of introducing the concept of social cohesion into the political plane of modern Europe. In the context of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war, they also analyze the peculiarities of the manifestation of patriotism and the psychological parameters of media traumatization. The daily stressors of war and their measurement indicators are studied; the problem of citizens' readiness for psychological help is raised. The need for changes in education and media education is substantiated. The results of the analysis of the socio-psychological well-being of the schoolchild in the evaluations of various subjects of the educational process are presented, and the current forms of parental participation in ensuring educational reforms are considered.
